he_Ghost just drawed my attention to a report about a possible release date of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. over at Game Rankings, so I will just quote.
"THQ Inc., today confirms that their highly anticipated survival first-person shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl for PC will ship in Fiscal Q4 - 2005.
"S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl represents an important new original intellectual property for THQ and we have moved the game to our fiscal fourth quarter, which we view as an optimal window to establish a new IP," said Darren Williams, Global Brand Manager, THQ
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl boasts some of the most advanced technology and graphics ever delivered on a PC, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl brings the foreboding post-nuclear disaster zone to life in the year 2012. As a mercenary, the player will venture into the exclusion zone in order to acquire information, technology and artefacts to sell on the black market, but he isn't alone. Developed by GSC Gameworld in Kiev and powered by its highly acclaimed and proprietary X-Ray engine, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is well positioned to re-define FPS gaming."
It is still unclear which real quarter this corresponds to, so we have asked for a confirmation from THQ, stay tuned.

Короче, согласно ~главному менеджеру по брендам~ THQ, Сталкер выйдет в (слава Богу) 2005 году в 4м финансовом квартале; о том, какой астрономический квартал соответствуют 4му финансовому, THQ умалчивает  Далее следует набивший всем оскомину треп о революционности продукта
