Detailed WGTS MOD (F1C) feature list - Racesims Revolution
As you could read on the front page, the Racesims Revolution has taken up the first version of their WGTS MOD for the F1 Challenge 99-02. Here is a more detailed features list from the RSR.
Features:
• 39 Teams / 47 Cars
• 12 cars models with unique cockpits and physics: Chrysler Viper GTS R, Saleen S7 R, Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo, Porsche 996 GT3 RSR, Lamborghini Murcielago RGT, BMW M3 GTR, Ferrari 550, Ferrari 575, Ferrari 360 Modena, Chevrolet Corvette C5R, Lister Storm, Maserati Trofeo L-GT
• 23 tracks featuring: All-new LimeRock Park, Enna Pergusa, Anderstorp Beta
• Realistic physics model using the real specs of the above included cars with unique driving characteristics for each car, also utilizing all the features of the F1 Challenge 99-02 physics engine, like tire heating, tire wear, brake temperature, engine heating, real-time suspension geometry modeling, realistic damage effects and many many more. The physics were developed with the help of real GT car teams and industry professionals.
• Realistic GT car sounds unique for each car model with different inside and outside sounds
• Totally reworked AI to make for realistic and challenging single-player races
• Realistic setup options and modified telemetry tool to find the ideal setup for each racetrack
• Visual effects such as blurred wheels, new tired smoke and backfires
• Professionally designed menu graphics and launcher tool with advanced track converter feature
• All 3D models have been carefully optimized with different LOD steps for high frame rates even on lower spec PCs
REQUIREMENTS:
500mb disk space. You need a full working install of EA Sports \"F1 Challenge 99-02\". The minimum and recommended specs for CPU speed and graphics adapter are the same as those given for \"F1 Challenge 99-02\". The use of a force-feedback steering wheel is highly recommended. Additional gearbox controllers and clutch pedals are supported.

Please read the README Document upon installation. Although we’ve tried to alleviate most bugs/issues, there will inevitably be some that still exist. The document contains known issues. PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING PROBLEMS. RSR will attempt to provide limited support; however we will be focusing most of our efforts on future projects utilizing rFactor by Image Space Incorporated.
